I am Lee Lin and I am running for the board at 32 West 40th Street. By training I am a tech geek with three degrees from MIT, and I seek to join and contribute a unique set of skills that rounds out the capabilities of the current board.
(Regardless of the outcome of the election, I am happy to donate the domain to the building to improve communication between the shareholders, staff, management, board, and the general public. I apologize for the rough design and formatting - this is simply a placeholder until the board formally takes over.)
Effective communication is critical to navigating the challenges ahead. We entrust the board to make difficult decisions and act in our collective best interests. We could potentially use this domain to create mailing lists, forums, issue-tracking tickets, and other low cost, simple to manage solutions to improve management.
As your board member, I promise to make myself accessible and available to listen and respond to all concerns. I will bring your ideas to the board and provide frequent updates regarding the budget, ongoing projects, and key decisions. I am fortunate enough to have the time and flexibility in my schedule to put in the work. My office is minutes away and I can duck out in a pinch or schedule work-from-home days to attend to building matters. Even when traveling, I will always be free to reply.
I am an entrepreneur specializing in web development, content marketing and quantitative analysis. As founder and CEO of RealtyHop and RentHop (you might have seen our subway ads), we serve millions of monthly visitors who send thousands of secure online messages and payments daily. Most immediately, I can personally set up better tools for Bryant Park Place residents to query the board, management, and staff. Longer term, we can revamp how we submit and access important documents electronically, invest in a website with pubic and private sections, and modernize invoicing.
I moved into 8B over 15 years ago, met my wife in 2017, and plan to stay for the long term raising our firstborn daughter, Zoe Amelia Lin (13 months old). We are committed to making BPP a more lovely home for current and future residents. I would be honored to have your vote and serve the building.
